We are very happy to say that the electronic direction for lung X-rays is already a fact! The first patient with such was served in the Center for Imaging Diagnostics MLADOST on 08.12.2020. A remarkable date that we will remember.
And why is this important?
The Mladost Imaging Diagnostic Center introduced disinfection using UV bactericidal lamps with an ozone generator.
Such a high sanitary standard is applied only in the operating rooms of hospitals, but given the current prevalence of Covid infection, the measure is justified in order to preserve the health of patients and health professionals. This disinfection is in addition to the regular cleaning of all contact surfaces and aims to destroy pathogens in a way that is unattainable by direct application of detergents.
Ray, Mammograph, Toothball and Dental Scanner work rooms and the Center’s waiting room are treated with UV bactericidal lamps. Disinfection of common areas is done only at night, due to the risks to human health in direct contact with the UV spectrum. The working premises of the Center, on the other hand, are also processed during the day, thanks to the controlled access to them.
25% discount for X-rays at the weekend
For more than a month now, the Center for Imaging Diagnostics MLADOST has been accepting patients over the weekend as well. With working hours every Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00, the Center is the first unit in the pre-hospital care of the city of Varna, which performs imaging diagnostics 7 days a week.
The extended working hours were announced in mid-September and quickly gained popularity among Varna residents as “X-ray on duty”.
